I work with people, businesses and spaces, helping clients understand what’s happening beneath the surface and translate that insight into meaningful, tangible change. Sometimes that means navigating a personal or professional transition; sometimes it’s working with the energy of a home or business; and sometimes it’s using intuition, ritual and energetic strategy to see something from an entirely different perspective.
My journey into this work began two decades ago while I was still working in the New York fashion industry. Somewhere between styling shoots, traveling the world and discovering that statement necklaces might actually have superpowers, I started exploring energy and intuition — and eventually went high-heels first down the mystical rabbit hole. Twenty years of study, experimentation and experience later, those two seemingly different worlds have become one.
Style Rituals™ was born from that intersection: energy and aesthetics, intuition and strategy, the mystical and the everyday.

THE SKINNY ON HER STORY
Colleen McCann is an Energetic Strategist, founder of Style Rituals™ and author of Crystal Rx (HarperCollins). A former fashion stylist and creative director, she began exploring energy and intuition two decades ago while still working in the New York fashion industry—an unexpected path that would eventually bring her two worlds together.
With an eye for trends and a lifelong fascination with beauty, symbolism and the way things make us feel, Colleen’s career has never followed a conventional path. Over the years, she has worked as a designer, stylist, creative director, brand consultant, author, teacher and, always, a serial entrepreneur—her first venture being a friendship-bracelet company started at age eight.
Her years in fashion took her around the world, where her fascination with culture, ritual, beauty and the unseen continued to deepen. What started as curiosity became a twenty-year exploration of the invisible forces that shape how we feel, choose, create, connect and move through the world.
DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE
Although intuition had always been part of Colleen’s life, things became considerably harder to ignore when she started hearing voices—also known as clairaudience—in a Brooklyn bodega.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Convinced she might be losing her mind, Colleen booked an appointment with a reputable Manhattan psychic, who delivered an unexpected explanation: she wasn’t crazy. She was intuitive.
And so began a very different kind of education.
GETTING SCHOOLED
Over the next two decades, Colleen immersed herself in an unlikely constellation of energetic, intuitive and ancient practices: astrology, channeling, core Shamanism, energy medicine, feng shui, geobiology, land & space clearing & healing, lithotherapy, mediumship, numerology, psychometry, remote viewing, tarot, Usui Reiki and western european folk healing.
At the same time, her years in fashion developed an entirely different set of disciplines: design, styling, creative direction, visual storytelling, color psychology, trend analysis and brand strategy.
Rather than seeing these as two separate worlds, Colleen became fascinated by what happened when they were brought together. Her signature approach grew from that synthesis—combining energetic intelligence with creative expertise to understand people, businesses and spaces from both the visible and invisible perspectives.
THE AHA MOMENT
While still working in fashion, Colleen began noticing an unexpected connection between the visual and the energetic.
Color could change how someone felt. Clothing could become armor—or confidence. Objects carried stories. Spaces affected the people inside them. And the same intuition she used to understand proportion, imagery, trends and visual storytelling could be applied far beyond fashion.
Eventually, the connection became impossible to ignore.
Style Rituals™ was born from the idea that the things we can’t see can have a very real impact on the things we can—and that energy can be understood, worked with and brought into form.
